Sometimes the coffee we feature is organic, and other times it is not. Coffee is a tricky crop when it comes to organic certification, because obtaining and maintaining the certification can be quite the financial burden on the farm, even if they are following organic practices already.

While we don’t always feature organic coffee, I’m proud to say that every single coffee we provide is either fair trade, direct trade or from a coffee cooperative. We have an active interest in providing producers the means to invest in sustainable farming practices!
